A. Yes, I’ve had dreams, too. Verse 21-22 tell us that the prison keeper put Joseph in charge of the other prisoners. There are dreams of the daytime and there are dreams of the night. B. Sometimes they were scary. God often spoke to people through dreams in the Bible. And whatever he did, the Lord made it succeed. Then Joseph had a dream, and when he told it to his brothers, they hated him all the more. His brothers interpreted the first dream to the effect that he was going to rule over them. In today’s sermon, we are going to learn how God did just that with the man called Joseph and why it is still relevant to us. Gen. 39 closes by telling us that God was in that prison with Joseph.
