This is lovely, the tuberose is so warm and cozy and sexy in a low key way. I'm picky. I had the opportunity of re introduction by a client of mine who was wearing this scent. Wow! Sometimes it reminds me of the type of pre- Raphaelite ladies in the paintings with long ringlets and gauzy dresses in flowerey meadows. The lilac and orris roots gives the powdery undertone which is quite a soft and delicate character. Then it is dominated by the sweet intoxicating tuberose. Sadly, both are gone now. My mother used to wear this back in the day and had a bottle of the original formula until a few months ago, I believe. Perhaps I should hunt down the original Lagerfeld version. I let it sit on my skin awhile and then I took a whiff again, the soapy-ness was still there but it started to fade and I could definitely smell the Aldehydes in there.
